Poison Insanity

These days, I have been pondering and dealing with family and forgiveness. I have been writing a mix of stories and poems based on a few true events in my life, turning them into a horror vibe, which is the only way I know how.  Healing through this on my own, rather than waiting for an apology, is no longer an option. Struggling with how I want to proceed, but it is all coming together. I wanted to do a video storytelling theme for my YouTube channel where I can narrate and read some.  I wanted to get into this a little bit so people could feel the story and words.  Here is half of a poem I wrote to start my journey.  Shadows whisper low, A young girl stands beneath the light. Calm exterior, yet a strong tempest within. Her heart, a tornado of hurt and pain. Her eyes are like pools of midnight flames. Reflecting on the wounds of her past, Clutching a grudge in a river of fire. Binding her spirit to chains.  Thank you for your continued support. Copy...

A Girl's Terrifying Encounter

The Blue Man in the Blue Suit with the Sinister Smile    Every day, I walk home the same way because I love stopping by my favorite candy store on Smart Street. I would go there and speak to Mr. and Mrs. Bard for a few minutes and then head home, but on this day something was unusual and a little bit off. A man stood in the store wearing a dark blue suit that was very clean, and he had on shades that looked very mysterious in person. Another thing that stood out was that he was all blue! He was talking to Mr. Bard about his new car, and as I stood there, he turned to me and smiled. His smile was creepy.

A Girl's Eerie Experiences on the Grave Shift

The haunted store          Working the grave shift has its advantages and disadvantages, but overall, I am in love with the graveyard shift. There are so many more things that you can learn when you are working at night than in the daytime. I have only had about two friends work at this location, and both of them moved on from it. I live down the street, so it is easy for me to get here. I had never worked at a store before, so I wanted to give it a shot. Management used to have a store clerk who worked here, but due to a robbery three months ago, he is no longer with us. They say he haunts the store to protect it, but I am not sure. I have a hard time with spirits and all of that stuff. I guess I never really believed in it until Friday night rolled around.

The Vanishing Act

A Father's Encounter with a Haunted Chain Letter   "The time will come when you will open your mailbox and you will see the postcard that will instruct you to keep the postcard going. The instructions will be specific, and if you don't follow them exactly, you will be haunted the rest of your life." "This is a chain letter that you don't want to let sit, so make your choice and make it quick."     One Saturday evening, my father went to the mailbox, where he found a postcard that gave us instructions on how to send the chain letter without consequences, but he didn't believe in it. My mother and I warned him more than once about the consequences that would follow us, but he wouldn't hear anything we had to say. Within a few days, strange things started to happen. I kept seeing a woman in the basement who wasn't there, and then on Tuesday, my mom thought she saw some guy just sitting at our kitchen table.     ...
